We know that this may not be for you. We understand that the shirts might be a bit much, and that you can't give up a month and head over to Africa. And you shouldn't feel bad about that. But, that shouldn't keep you, or I, from doing our part. If you look on and what we do and say, I want to get involved in the whole restoration-of-love thing, but not in this way, I would love for you to take a look at some of my friends and what they are doing. Everyone has a different heartbeat. Your heartbeat is different than mine. Follow it. Get involved somewhere. Stand for something.

Taylors Closet
Taylors Closet is a group that addresses the needs of girls in the foster care system. They provide brand new, desgner clothes to girls that need not only clothes, but someone to talk to. The hope is that through meeting the most basic needs of these girls that Gods bright light will shine through and that theif lives can be renewed with love and hope.
TC works to build a worldwide community of people and companies who will give of themselves in order to care for girls in need. They are creating a network of “stores” where these girls can come in and feel safe, where they can feel special, and where they can encounter the love of Jesus in that place.

This is something that my best friend does. He is the only guy I have ever met that openly invities the homeless into his home. He is the only guy that I have met that sleeps in the smallest room of his house so that others can have the bigger ones.
LoveBags is a way to get in touch with homeless community and connect in a way that restores humanity and repairs lives. They provide for the physical, social, emotional and spiritual help that many people in the homeless community need to get back on their feet.
